A Couple Restoration Projects

Between projects and on a dog walk one morning I found this old 1930's lawn/deck folding chair someone had thrown on the curb. I loved the old wood and the design and knew I could bring it back to life. It required a complete strip down and new hardware. I also sewed all the fabric with the help of my mom who is a fantastic seamstress. The chair now sits in my living room as part of the decor.

This side table was pretty dilapidated and in need for a complete make over or a heave ho into the bin.

Rather then just refinishing the top I hand painted this faux wood grain design. The black boarded, edge and centre is all paint.
